This user page is for collating information about Benjamin Blayney's 1769 Oxford Edition of the King James Bible.
Non-standard spellings
Not all the spelling variations were corrected in the 1769 Oxford KJV, and spelling was not all made uniform.
Blayney's 1769 Oxford edition of the KJV still had these non-standard spellings[1] that are not found in many present KJV editions:

"loath" (Job 7:16), "milstone" (Deut. 24:6), "milstones" (Isa. 47:2), "shamelesly" (2 Sam. 6:20), "sope" (Mal. 3:2), "vallies" (1 Kings 20:28), "waggon" (Num. 7:3), "waggons" (Ezek. 23:24), "wholsome" (Prov. 15:4), "yern" (Gen. 43:30),
