+
|There is no real reason for having separate pages for single- / multi-column display. Merge any functionality left on passagestudy.jsp, which parallel study.jsp does not already support and then make one display page. * Troy has begun work on developing an [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_%28operating_system%29 Android] front-end called '''Bishop'''. A preliminary APK file is now available for early testing. ''Visit the CrossWire mobile-devel mailing list if you would like to help''.

* It is feasible to convert any J2ME application to an Android APK using the '''J2ME Bridge''' service available at [http://www.netmite.com/ netmite.com]. Several '''Go Bible''' applications have been converted as an experiment. The conversion process works OK, but leaves the MIDlet icon unchanged in size, which does not conform to Android guidelines. NB. Some languages did not have font support by default.

Module development is fast paced, there are always new texts in development, everyone is welcome to contribute. Please check SWORD-devel mailing list for current projects asking for help or to announce yours.

While our pages Non-CrossWire Text-Development Projects and Module Requests are both a bit pigsties at current rate, they do contain a lot of useful links to projects where freely licensed or public domain texts can get picked up and made to modules.
