OSIS Glossaries

John,

It would be very helpful if you could write a page as a guide to making an OSIS Glossary and linking such from an OSIS Bible module. David Haslam 09:23, 28 December 2013 (MST)

Currently the only kind of guidance for dictionary modules is by using TEI, see TEI Dictionaries. Yet as you have learned, OSIS is also just as good for making a Bible Glossary module, as exemplified in several IBT translations. David Haslam 09:26, 28 December 2013 (MST)
The only supported formats for LD module import are IMP and TEI. There is no value in supporting (or documenting creation of) inferior OSIS-encoded LD content. OSIS was not intended for dictionary-type content, hasn't been designed for that purpose, and isn't appropriate for such use. --Osk 00:03, 30 December 2013 (MST)
