Despite the good example of Wikipedia, the CrossWire wiki  uses capital letters in headings in many places where they are not needed. David Haslam 11:51, 16 September 2008 (MDT)

: Wikipedia isn't our style guide. I, and I would guess many other contributors to the wiki, use standard English-language title casing for section headings. --Osk 14:06, 16 September 2008 (MDT)

I have deleted the page re new ideas as it is a bad idea. It was full of vague proposals without developer support, links to projects which have no connection to us and platforms which we will not support. As such anyone who has a active developmemt ongoing is invited to make use of the wiki pages to collect input, but I do not think it should be a free for all. Proposal pages should be opened only by the peopel who actually will fulfill the proposal. refdoc:talk 11:43, 8 January 2018 (MST)

KIO_Sword is a URL handler for Sword project modules that makes installed modules browsable in Konqueror. This means it's Mac/Linux compatible. It's so small and functional. I'm putting it into talk instead of the main page because I  don't know what the criteria for listing is.  (and since I don't own it...)

If you have ideas or suggestions on how to improve pages on this wiki, please discuss these in the Talk page for the relevant page. Always add new Talk page headings in chronological order. Keep ongoing discussion threads indented using colons. Always sign edits to talk pages using four tilde, which gets automatically converted to your username signature with a time-stamp. CrossWire uses a lot of jargon that may be familiar to computer programmers and the like, but which easily mystifies the typical Bible student visiting this site for the first time. Even the word Frontend is an example of such jargon. What can we do to make things easier for visitors? The Bindings are one of the most crucial feature of the library and are very much main page material. Please do not edit anything in this section. refdoc:talk 11:50, 8 January 2018 (MST)

Why is diatheke categorized under "No longer being actively developed" ? David Haslam 17:16, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

Program Crash
: Diatheke gets occasional bugfixes for either genuine bugs or incompatibilities with the current library version, but I haven't put any amount of serious work into it since 2001. It doesn't even support GenBooks (which, I assume, were added post-2001). I (or maybe even someone else) might pick up development and add more features some day, but until then I wouldn't consider it under active development. --Osk 21:14, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Just came across MiniBible app for the Harmattan (Maemo 6/MeeGo) based Nokia mobile phone N9, developed by George Ruinelli.
