: The former name is the public name, the latter is the development codename. Since newbies aren't involved in BibleCS development, I don't see this being an issue. And I'm afraid the window for suggesting new names for BibleCS closed about 8 years ago (with The SWORD Project for Windows being the result of that renaming process). --[[User:Osk|Osk]] 20:09, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

::Thanks for the explanation. Newbies to the mailing lists may not be involved in the development, but they may still find having a separate development codename a tad confusing.  ''I know I did for a while''.  [[User:David Haslam|David Haslam]] 12:39, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

The former name is the public name, the latter is the development codename. Since newbies aren't involved in BibleCS development, I don't see this being an issue. And I'm afraid the window for suggesting new names for BibleCS closed about 8 years ago (with The SWORD Project for Windows being the result of that renaming process). --Osk 20:09, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the explanation. Newbies to the mailing lists may not be involved in the development, but they may still find having a separate development codename a tad confusing. I know I did for a while. David Haslam 12:39, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
