Currently Application is not finished and avialiable for early use, as there is no SWORD-based alternative for Windows Mobile. For now you can read SWORD Bible modules, though so far only for touch screen models. Windows Mobile 5 and above is supported, maybe Windows Mobile 2003 will be added soon.

Bible View

This page is not actual anymore, because project was renamed to "BibleTime Mini" and moved to SourceForge page. This page still here because in some respects, this project is better than new.

SlideBible Beta is finger-oriented SWORD front-end for Windows Mobile devices.

State :

  • Bible and Commentary modules
  • Touch screen and keypad support
  • Windows Mobile 5 and 6 are supported

Features :

  • Multiple Bible views by sliding left/right
  • Module Installer
  • Search (range selection by long tap in place selection dialog, testing)
  • Global Module Options (for now displaying Strongs and Morphs only)
  • History
  • Color themes support
  • Background text loading
  • Multiscreen
  • Draw cache increases perfomance

Latest stable executable can be found here.Also developer's changelog/todo could be interesting.

You may manually put modules (mods.d and modules folders) into the executable folder on your device. Also you may put Sword locale file from here and put it in locales.d folder with executable if you want localized book names.

And Qt port for Windows Mobile 5.0 available now. It hasn't new features, just represent current work.
