Please restrict the listing of front-ends on the Main Page to those which are at least at beta test status. It is better to list new front-end development projects in the Current Projects page. David Haslam 19:24, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

Revision as of 14:24, 8 January 2018

Please cull on this page from time to time stuff which is not relevant anymore. No need to formally archive. refdoc:talk 02:10, 8 January 2018 (MST)

Improving the Development Pane

The ideal Frontend wishlist item should be moved to become a section on a more general new page Development Roadmap. IMHO, it is too verbose to be here on the main page. Please comment. David Haslam 19:07, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks to Osk for starting to follow this up. David Haslam 21:47, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

I have deleted the links to the Ideal frontend wishlist - it is a massive page with a lot of useful stuff hidden under garbage and outdated things - we need to cull that to size before we make it reappear.

Front-ends

Please restrict the listing of front-ends on the Main Page to those which are at least at beta test status. It is better to list new front-end development projects in the Current Projects page. David Haslam 19:24, 14 April 2010 (UTC)

xulsword & phpsword

xulsword was originally developed as Windows based front-end, but more recently has also been adapted as a Firefox extension.

phpsword is part of the xulsword project, but is a server based front-end. For a demonstration, please visit IBT Bible Browser.

With the changes to Mozilla Firefox add-ons infrastructure, xulsword is no longer available as a Firefox extension. David Haslam (talk) 01:47, 8 January 2018 (MST)

C# bindings

I have just removed the following from the Development pane.

This is already linked from the page DevTools:Bindings. A link from the main page isn't required. --David Haslam (talk) 07:23, 8 January 2018 (MST)
