Page renamed from Current Events

As there were no "events" mentioned, I have copied the content of the page that had the title, Current Events. David Haslam 19:53, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Pumpkin Holder ?

Where does the term "Pumpkin Holder" come from? And what is an "Ant" ? David Haslam 17:02, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

LMGTFY--the second link gives the pointer to patch pumpkin, which defines the term. It also identifies the source of the term (Perl). "Ants" would be the workers. Maybe "Worker Bees" would be a better term here. --Osk 22:41, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. Most enlightening. David Haslam 14:53, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

BREW

Software for the BREW-enabled handsets can be developed in C or C++ using the freely downloadable BREW SDK. David Haslam 19:10, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Adding the BREW platform sub-section was prompted by a question in the Go Bible Forum about the Samsung Alias 2 SCH-U750 mobile phone. David Haslam 19:16, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

MRP

I am grateful to David Liu of [1] for alerting me about MRP. The potential to get the Word of God out on mobiles in many Asian countries is hampered by the fact that so much of the handsets sold in the region are based on application frameworks other than Java ME. David Haslam 12:12, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

MTK

How to start develop for chinese mobile phones based on nucleus RTOS? (MTK). See [2] and [3]. David Haslam 13:14, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
